Srinagar: Four unidentified militants have been killed in an ongoing gunfight in Chinnigam, Frisal area of South Kashmir’s Kulgam district on Saturday.
Srinagar based news agency GNS quoted top police officer as saying that in the ongoing gunbattle four militants have been killed, intense firing still going on. However their identification can be only ascertained once operation is over.
Earlier, gunfight broke out between militants and security forces in Chinnigam, Frisla area after a specific input was received by the security forces.
In another gunfight which took place in Mudergham area of Kulgam, one army soldier was killed in intial exchange of fire. So far no information has been recieved about any militant death in the gunfight.
