Srinagar: In a joint operation, Shopian police and army have arrested Nasir Ahmed Sher Gojri, a Hizbul Mujahideen (HM) militant who has been active since 2017.

Gojri, also known as Qasim Bhai, is a resident of HomHuna Nagbal and is suspected of involvement in various criminal cases.

Retrieved from Microblogging’s Twitter site, Kashmir Police Zone, in a tweet according to Kashmir Bulletin–(KB), said that, Nasir Ahmed Sher Gojri, also known as Qasim Bhai, a resident of HomHuna Nagbal an active militant of HM has been arrested, and a case has been registered and an investigation has been set in motion to uncover the full extent of Gojri’s militant network.

“Shopian Police & Army arrested one of the longest surviving HM terrorist active since 2017 namely Nasir Ahmed Sher Gojri @ Qasim Bhai S/o Ali Mohd R/o HomHuna Nagbal, involved in various criminal cases.
