The Chief Medical Officer in Anantnag, taking immediate cognizance of the fake doctor incident in the south Kashmir district, sealed the clinic where the doctor was practicing.
Speaking to The Kashmiriyat, the Chief Medical Officer Anantnag, Dr. MY Zagoo, said that the clinic named Medwin Medicate located at Nazuk Mohalla has been sealed on Saturday evening.
He said that the clinic was sealed after the department received complaints that a fake doctor was practising there.
The Chief Medical officer also issues a direction asking the clinics operating in the south Kashmir district to submit the details of the doctors practising at the clinics.
“These details include basic personal information, degree information and MCI licences and this information has to be submitted at the CMO office of Anantnag,” MY Zagoo told The Kashmiriyat.
Earlier The Kashmiriyat reported that a man named Gulzar has been practising in the town for several years. Aged around 70, he turned out to be fake and his degrees were fabricated.
