Jammu: An Exchange of fire was reported in wee hours between militants and security forces in Kalaban near Pathanatir point in Mendhar area of Poonch district on Sunday.
Srinagar based news agency GNS quoted officials as saying that security forces received a specific input about the presence of some militants in the area. As the security forces moved towards the suspected spot, an exchange of fire took place between militants and security forces.
Till this report was being filed, Search Operation in the area was underway.
