An elderly lady has been allegedly killed by her brother-in-law in Akhnoor area of Jammu district Saturday last night.
Srinagar based News Agency Kashmir Scroll quoted officials as saying that an elderly woman namely Vaishnu Devi (65) wife of late sh. Shiv Ram Sharma resident of village Bardal Khurd has been allegedly murdered by her Brother in law.
Accused has been identified as Pooran Chand son of Amar Nath resident of village Bardal Khurd.
The woman was allegedly crushed to death by stone pelting by her brother-in-law.
Meanwhile the case has been registered wide FIR no. 72/2024 and accused has been arrested by the concerned police station while further investigation has been taken up.
