However, a minor shift in the weather pattern is anticipated in the high-altitude areas, with a chance of light snow during the next 48 hours, specifically tonight and tomorrow night.

The highest probability for a light snow spell is concentrated along the following axis and regions:
- Maximum Chances: Sonamarg – Zojila – Drass axis, Bandipora higher reaches, and Kupwara higher reaches.
- Very Light Spells: Pockets around Sinthan Top, Margan Top, and Affarwat Hills are also forecast to receive very light precipitation, potentially in the form of snow.
