Srinagar: DDC Chairperson Shopian Bilkeesa Jan on Wednesday joined the Peoples Democratic Party ahead of Lok Sabha polling on the Anantnag-Rajouri segment.
Jan joined Peoples Democratic Party in presence of Party President Mehbooba Mufti at Wukay in Kulgam.
The joining of Jan is seen as a major push to the PDP as Anantnag-Rajouri Lok Sabha segment is set to undergo polls on May 7.
