Shopian,11 August:- North Zone Cultural Centre Patiala , Ministry of Culture Govt of India organised a day long Cultural programmes at District Shopian in collaboration with Chief Education Officer Shopian under Har Ghar Tiranga.
These events was held under the aegis of Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav- an initiative of the Government of India to celebrate and commemorate 75 years of independence and the glorious history of its people, culture, and achievements.
The presentation featured Bach e Nagma, Nukad Natak, and Bhand Pather to exhibit Kashmir’s vibrant culture.
Speakers, on the occasion emphasised the importance of holding such programmes throughout the entire nation in order to preserve and honour the country’s rich cultural diversity.
The recognised cultural teams enthralled audience.
The teams were Nund I Reshi Folk Theatre Wathora, Nukkad Natak team Headed by Tawseef Ahmad Bhat and Bach e Nagma by Gh Mohd Balpori.
The program was organised at Army Goodwill School Shopian and Govt Middle School Bat Muran Shopian in front of an August gathering.
