Srinagar: Body of a youth who drowned in Nallah while taking a bath in the Sopore area of North Kashmir Baramulla district on Thursday has been retrieved.
Srinagar based news agency Kashmir Scroll quoted officials as saying that the body of youth who drowned while bathing into the Pohru nallah in Sopore on Thursday was recovered this morning.
He said that Umar Hameed son of Ab Hameed Dar resident of Naseer Abad Sopore drowned in Nallah while bathing, soon after the incident search operations were launched, his body was recovered today by local boatmen.
“Police have taken cognizance of the incident”, he said.
