Srinagar: Another tourist from Kolkata who was injured in a road accident in Bijbehara area of Anantnag on Tuesday has succumbed taking the toll of killed tourists to two.
An official told Kashmir Scroll that an accident took place near Arwani crossing along the national highway in Bijbehara in which one tourist vehicle was hit by a truck.
In the incident one woman namely Karuma sardar (35) resident of Kolkata died on the spot and body has been shifted to SDH Bijbehra for other medico-legal formalities, he said.
Four others were injured in the incident who have been referred to GMC anantnag them among one more identified as Radha rain from Kolkata succumbed, he said.
Three other injured have been shifted to Srinagar for advanced treatment, he added.
Police have taken cognizance of the incident and started investigation—(KS)
