Mir Aasif is a journalist based in Jammu and Kashmir. He is also running his own news outlet The Press Exclusive in kashmir region of India. Mir Aasif has been working in the journalism field since 2019, and he has reported many stories from the kashmir region of Jammu and Kashmir (India). The mainstream media has largely ignored this region. He tried his best to put forward the stories that were lost for decades, and as of 2024, he is still doing it. He also contributes to various national and regional media, including AB News, Shahrbeen Times, Al Hind Global Press Media, Bekhoof Awaz, Prime Post and more. He has also been a video journalist and was writer for prime post and a special reporter for kashmir based daily newspaper Shahrbeen Times. Mir Aasif was born on 5 March 1999 in Mohandpora Trenz area of South Kashmir’s shopian district. He obtained his high school education from Hanfiya Institute High School. Later he moved to Govt Degree College Shopian for higher studies. He graduated from Govt. Degree College Shopian affiliated with Kashmir University. He also did his Bachelor of Arts in Tourism Studies. Eventually he enrolled in Masters of Arts in Journalism and Mass Communication from Indira Gandhi National Open University. Mir Aasif is a well known photographer and content creator (writer) of Kashmir valley. He covered many law and order situations till date. His photographs were published by well known websites and newspapers of Jammu and Kashmir.
