ASHRAYA HASTHA TRUST ALONG WITH SURIYA FOUNDATION provides critical healthcare equipment to the Primary Health care centres of Ladakh.

Saving lives by strengthening health infrastructure in remote, far-flung, rural areas has always been a priority for the foundation.

This time the initiative is to strengthen the health infrastructure in the remotest part of the country in
Bogdang Leh, India.

Bogdang is a village with a significant population and is cut off totally from the main city during winter where temperatures can go as low as -25 C to -30 C. The people have been facing significant challenges in accessing critical healthcare facilities due to the harsh weather conditions. Ladakh is also a tourist destination and there are many emergencies that tourist face.

To do our bit in supporting the government and people, we are donating an X-ray machine to detect any plural effusion and other lung-related issues, a neonatal pulse oximeter for kids and portable oxygen cylinders for tourists.

The equipment will be distributed to 15 PHCs across Ladakh and the initiative was flagged off by the Honourable CEC of Ladakh Adv Tashi Gyalson and Member of parliament Jamyang Tsering Namgyal.

The entire initiative was supported by Ashraya Hastha trust a family-run philanthropic organisation of Mr K.Dinesh who is also the co-founder of Infosys.
