Kupwara: After Srinagar, Jammu and Kashmir Police have busted a prostitution racket by arresting five persons including the house owner and his wife at Reshipora area of Qaziabad in north Kashmir’s Kupwara district on Tuesday, sources said.
Sources told Asian News Hub (ANH) that a prostitution racket being operated from a residential house has been busted this afternoon.
Five persons including the house owner, his wife, two men and a woman were arrested by police from Kralgund Police Station.
Sources said that a case under FIR number 37/2023 has been registered at PS Kralgund under sections of immoral traffic prevention act.
Pertinently, this is the third such racket that has been busted in the Valley. Earlier, two prostitution rackets have been busted in Srinagar outskirts including Bagh-e-Mehtab and Nowgam area.(ANH)
