Shopian: Social Activist Owais Khan has expressed profound shock and grief over the sad demise of Showkat Ahamd Malik of Taing Mohalla Shopian.
Showkat was the elder brother of Jahangir Ahmad Malik, vice president Truck Transport Association Shopian.
Showkat passed away on Saturday morning after a prolonged illness.
He is survived by his wife and three children.
Social Activist Owais Khan prayed for the departed soul and offered deep condolences to Malik and the bereaved family. He also prayed for courage and fortitude to the bereaved family to bear the loss.
Departed was a pious soul and great human being.
