BIJBEHARA: Government Higher Secondary School Arwani Bijbehara on Saturday inaugurated its Academic Excellence Software and official website during a function held at the school premises.
The programme was attended by the Chief Education Officer (CEO) Anantnag as the Chief Guest, while the District Education Planning Officer (DEPO) Anantnag participated as the Guest of Honour. The event was held in the presence of Principal Nisar Ahmad Dar, teaching staff and students.
Officials said that GHSS Arwani Bijbehara has become the first school in the district to introduce such an Academic Excellence Software, aimed at strengthening digital management and academic monitoring within the institution.
Through the newly launched software, important academic records, student information and cluster-related details can be accessed with a single click, making the system more transparent and efficient for teachers and administrators. The official website will also serve as a digital platform for students and parents to stay updated with school notices, results and various activities.
On the occasion, students who secured top positions in the JKBOSE examinations were also felicitated for their outstanding academic performance. They were appreciated by the guests and school administration for bringing laurels to the institution.
Speaking on the occasion, the Chief Education Officer appreciated the initiative taken by the school administration and termed it a significant step towards promoting digital education and modern academic management in government schools.
Principal Nisar Ahmad Dar said that the school administration is committed to further improving the institution and plans to develop the school significantly in the coming years by adopting new technologies and educational initiatives.
Teachers and students also welcomed the initiative and expressed hope that the digital platform will help enhance learning and communication within the school community.
