Srinagar: On the occasion of International Womens’ day, Aab-e-Rawaan conducted an on-road event with college students of government college for women Srinagar.
The members and volunteers of team Aab-e-Rawaan as per said that they interacted with the womenfolk and tried to get the first-hand information about their thoughts on the potential of the women. A live quiz was also conducted and the winners were awarded books and goodies. Mass distribution of sweets and chocolates was done to celebrate this day and make them feel special.
The women appreciated the initiative of Aab-e-Rawaan and conveyed their satisfaction with the overall work done by the team. A special appearance was made by the DySP Shabir Ahmed and SHO Ishaq Ahmed of Police Station Kothi Bagh and a beautiful message was penned by them about womens’ courage and patience.
Aab-e-Rawaan also conducted a campaign where women from all age groups penned down their feelings about gender.
The team was led by co-founders namely, Syed Khalid Bukhari and Muneeb Masoodi. Other members who were present at the event were Junaid Baba, Bazila, Saima, Nyla Bilal, Beenish and Shazia.
