Budgam: A 35-year-old man was electrocuted to death in Central Kashmir’s Budgam district on Monday.
An official told the news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO) that a man was cutting branches of a tree at Chandpura when he received an electric shock.
He said the person was shifted to a nearby hospital where he was declared brought dead on arrival.
He identified the deceased as Showkat Hussain, son of Ghulam Mustafa Thokar of Chandpura Budgam.
Meanwhile, police have taken cognizance of the incident and have started further investigation in this regard—(KNO)
