At least three bigwigs from north Kashmir are likely to join Mehbooba Mufti led Peoples Democratic Party in a week or so.
Reliable sources told Alfaaz – The Words that three political figures are likely to stage back their return to the Peoples Democratic Party, after earlier deserting it to join the other parties.
The to be joinees are expected to bring alongside them over a dozen other people, known for their political acumen.
Sources revealed that though a major part of the parleys are done with, the PDP is constantly mulling over a feasible time to welcome the trio back into the party fold. “If things fall in line, the political leaders may join within a week’s time or at the most on the death anniversary of PDP founder Mufti Muhammad Sayed’s on January 7, 2024”, the sources said.
