Sopore: A teenage boy drowned to death in Pohura river in Reban village of Baramulla district on Sunday, officials said here.
As per reports reaching to PRESS EXCLUSIVE said, a 12-year-old boy drowned in a river at Reban in Sopore area of Baramulla district when he was bathing with other friends.
However, locals present there retrieved the body and was rushed to the nearby hospital where doctors declared him brought dead on arrival.
An official told that the boy identified as Adnan Muzaffar drowned to death when he was talking a bath with others friends in Pohura river.
The official said that Adnan’s body was later retrieved by the efforts of locals and the police and was handed over to family after medic-legal formalities
